Welcome to Darden Hams — A Legacy of Flavor Since 1952
In 1952, at the crossroads of Bowling Green and Carrol Bridge, my great-grandfather built a small smokehouse to cure country hams the old-fashioned way — salt-cured, just as the settlers in Jamestown once did. For generations, the Darden family has carried on this proud tradition, sharing the rich flavor and craftsmanship of our hams with friends, neighbors, and visitors from near and far.

From our original Darden’s Country Store beside the smokehouse to our newest shop, Darden’s Country Store Outpost on Route 10, we offer the same beloved hams and local goods — along with a few fresh favorites for a new generation of enthusiasts.
